Chapter Seven - Bloodlines

Year 1000 of the 4th Era - Summer

Gully decides to begin the search for her father. She inquires an old veteran, and finds out that her father, Aramus, apparently had some deals with Nar’herix, Tharod’s fiendish mother. Gully faces the she-Fiend, and Nar’herix agrees to give her answers in exchange of a favor. She wants Gully to persuade the Emperor to allow Nar’herix to meet Count Noliss von Denn. Gully, not completely trusting the Fiend and her true motives, decides to go and meet the Count firsthand. Together with all the group, they travel to the Von Denn lands, and find out that the Count is not in town, but visiting some new lands he recently acquired (adv. Bloodlines). The group travels there, and meet the Count and his entourage while they’re attacked by an undead creature. The Count explains that in the basement of his new property he found some hints that his family may be connected to the Thorion Imperial family. If the heroes accept to venture into the lower levels of the keep, and uncover the secret of his family, he will follow them to the Imperial town.

The Heroes ventures into the catacombs, and discover an ancient secret. Apparently the ancestors of the Count were demon-worshippers, and brought great pain and shame upon the Imperial family. Our Heroes find proof of this, but also a Imperial signet ring that connects the Count to the Imperial family.

In the catacombs, Tharod confronts an Fiendish Undead Champion of Evil, and upon its demise aquires the status of Blackguard.

Once outside the catacombs, the group returns to the Count, and delivers the signet ring, and the incriminating documents, apart from one, which Zephyra manages to hide, for future plans.

Gully decides to not bring the Count back with her in the Capital, and the group returns home.
